Animals, just like humans, may encounter unexpected health emergencies. In situations such as trauma, poisoning, and various complications, rapid and accurate intervention is of vital importance. Emergency veterinary medicine is a critical specialty focused on providing effective, scientific, and timely intervention in such urgent conditions.
The Emergency Veterinary Physicians Association (TuVECCA) was founded by veterinarians who share common ethical values and a professional perspective, with the mission of bringing colleagues together under a strong scientific and professional platform. Our association aims to support the development of the knowledge, skills, and clinical experience required in emergency and critical care veterinary medicine.
TuVECCA’s vision is to contribute to the widespread adoption of high standards in emergency and critical care veterinary medicine through collaboration, ethical values, scientific advancement, and professional solidarity. In line with this vision, our association supports the professional development of veterinarians by organizing congresses, symposiums, training programs, and certification activities.
Our goal is to follow scientific innovations in the rapidly evolving field of emergency veterinary medicine, support our colleagues in making accurate and balanced clinical decisions, and strengthen effective patient management skills in emergency situations. In doing so, we aim to create a professional development environment that adds value both to animal health and to society.
